The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has a few helpful websites relating to the coronavirus:

The Economic Impact Payment Information Center website contains frequently asked questions. You can find it here.

Coronavirus and Economic Impact Payments: Resources and Guidance, available here. This site contains links to press releases on a long list of topics related to the coronavirus and the IRS, provides some tax tips, and has links to IRS statements and frequently asked questions. It is rather technical, but perhaps your tax preparer will find it helpful.

The IRS has also published Economic Impact Payments and Coronavirus Tax Relief: Toolkit for Congressional Offices. The toolkit provides a great deal of information relative to Economic Impact Payments, for instance, how to check on the status, what to do if you do not ordinarily file taxes, and what you need to do if you presently receive federal benefits and have dependents. Find the toolkit here.
