Coordinated through the Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership, Specialized Intensive Programs & Services (SIPS) consists of a staff of highly experienced case management
specialists working in Boston and 29 surrounding communities, offering individualized assistance to residents with complex housing barriers and service needs.
SIPS staff can assist with finding clients rental assistance for cases involving chronically homeless elders, difficult-to-serve families (due to previous evictions, domestic violence issues, criminal records), and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. SIPS housing search case managers are available to help identify all options for safe, affordable, permanent housing. Case managers also assist throughout the application, interview, and leasing processes and assist new tenants with obtaining furniture, furnishings, and other essential resources to create a home.
