BOSTON – Three Quincy-based organizations were listed among the recipients of funds through the Massachusetts Cultural Council to support Asian American and Pacific Islander arts and cultural focused non-profits in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The FY22 AAPI Arts & Culture COVID-19 Recovery Program was created by an earmark secured by members of the House Asian Caucus directing the Mass Cultural Council to administer a one-time COVID relief program for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) cultural organizations financially impacted by the outbreak of COVID-19. Over 50 Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) arts and culture organizations collectively have received $975,000 in pandemic assistance from this program. 

Local recipients include:

  • Boston Night Market – $45,000
  • Global Love Service Education – $5,000
  • Quincy Asian Resources – $5,000
